Here, participants exchange information about successful industry developments and perspectives. The meeting is organized by BioCon Valley® GmbH, the network for the MV healthcare industry on behalf of the state government.

The proximity to universities and colleges with life science expertise as well as innovation centers in renowned research communities form an optimal framework for a vital healthcare industry. Close networking of all stakeholders spurs investment and creates the basis for sustainable success. For example, animal health and agriculture go hand in hand here. The Friedrich-Loeffler-Institut and the Leibnitz-Institut für Nutztierbiologie (Leibnitz Institute for Farm Animal Biology) conduct joint research.

When Miltenyi Biotec took over the Teterow site in MV 20 years ago, it only had around 100 employees. In the meantime, Teterow has become the company's second-largest site with almost 600 employees. Crucial to the expansion of this facility was also the support of the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern’s state government , which promoted the development of important innovations such as the CliniMACS Prodigy Platform.
